Advertising Policy
This page explains how CalcTypes approaches advertising, both now and as we grow.
- CalcTypes does not currently display any advertising.
- We plan to enable Google AdSense in the future.
- Advertising will never influence calculator design, formulas, or results.
1) Current Advertising Status
As of the date listed above, CalcTypes does not display third-party advertisements of any kind.
2) Planned Advertising (Google AdSense)
We plan to apply for and use Google AdSense to display advertisements on the Website in the future. When enabled, ads will be served by Google and its advertising partners, and may use cookies as described in our Privacy Policy.
3) Ad Labeling & Separation From Content
When advertisements are enabled, we intend to display them in clearly distinguishable areas of the page, separate from calculator inputs, results, and editorial content, so that users can easily tell the difference between our content and paid advertisements.
4) No Endorsement of Advertised Products
Advertisements displayed via Google AdSense (or any future ad network) are selected by the ad platform based on factors such as page content and, where applicable, user interests. The presence of an advertisement does not imply that CalcTypes endorses, recommends, or has verified the advertised product or service.
5) Your Controls
Once advertising is enabled, you will be able to manage ad personalization preferences via Google Ads Settings, and, where legally required (such as for EEA/UK visitors), via a consent management tool presented on the site. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
6) Editorial Independence
Advertising revenue, if and when generated, does not influence how calculators are built, what formulas they use, or what results they display. See our Editorial Policy for our editorial standards.
